Snap-on veneers in Hurghada — and why they need two visits
This is the only treatment on this site that cannot be finished in one appointment, and we would rather you read that here than find it out at the desk. A thin shell is made to fit over your own teeth. It clips on and off, it hides gaps, dark teeth and crowding the moment it goes in, and nothing about your own teeth is changed to make it work. Some people know this as a snap-on smile.
What actually happens
- First visit, about ten minutes: an impression of your teeth is taken and you choose the shade you want.
- The shell is made in a laboratory. That is the part that takes two days and cannot be shortened.
- Second visit, about ten minutes: it is fitted, adjusted where it presses, and you practise taking it in and out yourself before you leave.
- It goes home with you. There is nothing left in your mouth that needs a dentist.
What it looks like

Illustration, not a patient of ours — the result differs from case to case.
Who it suits
- Anyone with a wedding, a shoot or an event and no time for anything permanent.
- People with gaps, worn or dark front teeth who want to see what a different smile looks like on their own face before committing to anything.
- Anyone who wants something completely reversible.
When it is not the right choice
- If you fly home tomorrow, this one is not possible. It needs two days between the visits — count the days before you book.
- It is worn, not fixed. You take it out to sleep and you look after it.
- It covers what is there. It does not treat anything underneath, and we will say so plainly rather than sell you the shell as a solution to something else.
- Sore or bleeding gums should be settled before an impression is taken.
How long it lasts
Cared for properly, one to three years of regular wear. It is a removable appliance, so it wears the way removable things do — and it can be remade from a fresh impression.
What people ask us about this
Can it be done in one day?
No. The shell is made in a laboratory and the laboratory needs two days. Anyone promising it same-day is promising something else. If you only have one day left, whitening is the treatment that fits.
Is anything drilled or filed?
No. Nothing is cut, nothing is injected, and it is completely reversible. Your teeth on the day you take it out are your teeth from the day you had the impression.
Can I eat with it in?
Soft food, yes. It is not built for biting into hard or sticky things, and most people take it out for a serious meal.
Does it look obviously artificial?
It looks like teeth, not like your teeth. You pick the shade, and a shade close to your own reads far more naturally than the brightest one on the guide. We will tell you honestly what we think looks right on you.
Do I need both visits at your clinic?
Yes — the impression and the fitting are both done here, two days apart. Ten minutes each.
