Teeth whitening in Hurghada, done in one 45-minute visit
You are here for a week, not for a course of treatment. This is a single session in the clinic with a professional gel and a light — you walk in, and forty-five minutes later you look in the mirror and the change is already there. Nothing to take home, nothing to come back for.
What actually happens
- We look at the colour your teeth are now against a real shade guide, so at the end there is something to compare against rather than a feeling.
- Your lips and gums are covered so the gel only touches enamel.
- The gel goes on and the light runs in short cycles, with a rest between them. This is the part that takes the time.
- The gel comes off, you see the new shade against the same guide, and we tell you what to avoid for the next two days.
What it looks like

Illustration, not a patient of ours — the result differs from case to case.
Who it suits
- Teeth that have gone dull or yellow from coffee, tea, red wine or smoking.
- Anyone who wants a visible difference for a wedding, a photo, or a flight home in a few days.
- People who have never whitened before and want to see what it actually does.
When it is not the right choice
- Crowns, veneers and fillings do not change colour. If a front tooth has a filling on it, it stays the shade it was made in, and the natural teeth around it get lighter — so tell us before we start.
- If your teeth are sharply sensitive to cold right now, it is better to do the cleaning first and whiten on another day.
- We do not whiten during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- Under-18s: not with us.
How long it lasts
Somewhere between six months and two years, and the difference is mostly you. Coffee, tea, cola and cigarettes pull the colour back down; the first forty-eight hours after the session are when the enamel takes up stain most easily, so that is the window worth being careful in.
What people ask us about this
Does it hurt?
Most people feel nothing at all. Some feel short cold-like twinges during the session or in the evening after it. It goes on its own, usually within a day. Tell us if your teeth are already sensitive and we adjust the cycles.
How many shades lighter will I go?
We will not put a number on it before we have seen your teeth, because nobody honestly can. What we do is record your starting shade against the guide so that at the end you are looking at a measurement, not at an opinion.
Can I do it on the day I fly home?
Yes. It is one visit and there is no recovery. The only thing to plan around is that for two days afterwards, dark food and drink mark the teeth more easily than usual.
Can I eat afterwards?
Straight away, but keep it light in colour for two days — no coffee, tea, cola, red wine, curry or tomato sauce. Airport coffee is the one that catches people out.
